This runway has been completely rebuilt. The ground has been rebuilt from scratch and levelled. The runway on grass is now used for general aviation as well as for rescue flights. The runway was completely reinforced with TERRA-GRID E 35. With TERRA-GRID E 35, values of up to 20 % CBR (California Bearing Ratio) can be achieved on unpaved runways.
