The TERRA-GRID E 35 ground grids from novus:HM offer a sustainable and stable solution for the construction and reinforcement of airfield surfaces. They are quick and easy to install thanks to the practical plug-in system. Depending on the requirements, ground conditions and budget, there are various installation methods with and without substructure to choose from

Laying without substructure
Directly on the natural ground
For airfields where no extensive civil engineering work is necessary or possible, laying without a substructure is ideal. In this case, the surface is first leveled and cleared of plant debris and stones. A geotextile is then applied as a separating and filter layer to protect the ground grids from sinking in. The TERRA-GRID E 35 grids are laid on this base, connected and filled with material such as gravel or sand.
