The TERRA-GRID E 35 grass grids from novus:HM offer a sustainable and stable solution for paving green areas, driveways and footpaths in landscaping and civil engineering. Thanks to the practical plug-in system, they can be laid quickly and easily. Depending on the requirements, the ground conditions and the desired utilisation concept, various laying methods with and without a substructure are available.
We will determine the best solution for your project together in a personal consultation. We also support you with suitable materials such as geotextiles, fillers or a top layer to meet the specific requirements of your surface.
Laying without a substructure
Directly on natural ground
For areas where no extensive civil engineering work is necessary or desired, laying without a substructure is ideal. The ground is first levelled and cleared of plant debris and large stones. Depending on the soil conditions, a geotextile separation and filter layer can then be applied to protect the grass grids from sinking in.
The TERRA-GRID E 35 turf grids are laid directly onto the prepared soil, connected to each other and then filled with turf seed or a suitable filling material such as sand or humus. This ensures immediate greening and a stable, resilient surface that can be both walked and driven on – without sealing.
